The Celica GT-Four turns out to be a rather difficult car to drive. Still, Armin manages to secure fourth in Portugal and New Zealand, where he posts five top times and four second-best times. Seven rounds are less than Schwarz had hoped for after leaving Mitsubishi for Toyota. At the end of the season the Toyota drivers as well as the manufacturer lose all WRC points due to a technical irregularity on the Celica at the Catalunya Rally. |
